LottoNL-Jumbo's Dutchmen claim 1-2 in stage-4 in Hoogerheide's with Bianchi's TT/Tri machine, moving atop the GC

Bianchi Aquila CV keeps on re-affirming its status as one of the World's best time trial machines with LottoNL-Jumbo's riders. Fourty-eight hours later Mike Teunissen's success in

Tour de l'Ain's prologue, Jos Van Emden claimed victory in Eneco Tour's stage-4, a 13,9 km ITT with start and finish in Hoogerheide (Netherlands) on Thursday, August 13th.

Van Emden covered the course in 16:34, five seconds faster than his teammate, ITT Dutch National champion Wilco Kelderman, seven seconds better than Adriano Malori (Movistar) and Lars Boom (Astana). Thanks to the excellent performance in Hoogerheide, Van Emden flew on the GC top in 12:30:09, with the same advantages on his closest rivals, Kelderman, Malori and Boom.

SURPLUS VALUE

Aquila CV is proving to be a real surplus value for LottoNL-Jumbo' riders. The Bianchi innovative TT/Triathlon model is engineered and designed using the most advanced CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation software and pro athletes' feedback.

The advantages of Countervail® Vibration Cancelling Technology - introduced in cycling by Bianchi - include maximized ride control and handling, allowing the rider sustained best aero position in varied road conditions, and reduced muscle fatigue, in particular the neck, shoulders and lower back empowering leg strength and increasing overall duration. The increase of energy savings improves the rider’s overall performance.

TOUR DE L'AIN: MARKUS 3rd

More good news for LottoNL-Jumbo came from the Tour de l'Ain, with Barry Markus and Nick Van der Lijke riding their Oltre XR.2 to third and fifth respectively in stage-2, 158,1 km from Feillens to Pont-de-Vaux (France) on August 13th as well.
